If you are looking to start a ceramics program in your school and are not sure where to begin, Amaco® makes it easy. We’ve created two options – Basic and Deluxe – each with a dependable kiln and all the accessories you will need to get started.
Be sure you know the power supply available to the room where the kiln will be located before selecting the kiln. A qualified electrician or custodian will be able to determine the voltage and phase you will need. The Amaco/Excel kilns in these programs are both available as single or three phase and 208 or 220-240V AC.
Once your program is established, keep it stocked with one of nine glaze or clay and glaze supply kits.

Basic Ceramic Program - Includes an Excel EX-365 round kiln, furniture kit and accessories.
Ceramic Supply Kits-Primary -
Primary Education Supply Kits are available with Low Fire Amaco White or Red clay and an assortment of Amaco Velvet Underglazes.
Ceramic Supply Kits-Secondary -
Secondary Education Supply Kits are available with Low Fire Amaco White or Red clay and assorted Amaco glazes.
