Select Fire Zone Control:
An enhanced version of the Select FireTM kiln controller, the optional Zone Control is specifically designed to produce maximum results for three-section Excel kilns EX-365SF, EX-1099SF, and EX-1850SF. It is standard on the EX-1850SF and optional on the 365SF and 1099SF models.

It utilizes three thermocouples that sense temperature variation between the sections. When any section falls more than 10° behind the others, it sends a signal to energize the elements in the cooler section to bring it up to temperature with the other sections. Once all three sections are within 10° of each other, the firing program resumes.

Zone Control is a special order feature on EX-365 and EX-1099 requiring 6-8 weeks for manufacturing.
