Mini-Bottles of Hope Designer’s Challenge for CHA-Anaheim 2008
![]() AMACO® and STAEDTLER, Inc. Announce Joint Sponsorship Of "Hope on a Rope" for CHA-Anaheim 2008 A Special Design Challenge Event
The "Mini Bottles of Hope" To Benefit Charity AMACO and STAEDTLER, Inc. are proud to announce the joint sponsorship of the latest in a series of designer challenges to support "Bottles of Hope," a grassroots national polymer clay craft movement. This movement seeks to increase awareness about charities and hospitals that deliver services to people living with cancer, through the distribution of decorated bottles (once used in chemotherapy) to patients and their families. In the past, AMACO has sponsored "Bottles of Hope Designer Challenges" with the creative collaboration of over 100 artists who have chosen charities and hospitals in the US and Australia to receive funds and/or their inspired "Bottles of Hope". The designing trend will continue in 2008 at CHA-Anaheim with STAEDTLER as co-sponsor. STAEDTLER, which recently took over the exclusive distribution of FIMO® products in the US from AMACO, pledges to continue support for "Bottles of Hope" and the thousands of crafters who work tirelessly to offer messages of hope in polymer clay covered bottles. The joint CHA-Anaheim 2008 event will focus on wearable necklaces for children featuring miniature "Bottles of Hope" that will be featured in an on-line gallery of the Top 25 winners at www.amaco.com and www.steadtler.com/us. All mini-bottles created for "Hope on a Rope Designers Challenge" will be gifted to cancer patients and their families. The Top 25 finalist entries will be on display at CHA for an awards reception on Monday, February 11 at 11:30 AM, AMACO Booth #4334. Both AMACO and STAEDTLER will contribute prizes, along with other craft manufacturers, to benefit the winners and their choice of cancer-related charities or hospitals. More information is available at www.amaco.com and at www.steadtler.com/us.
